Season 21 Information
« on: September 15, 2009, 06:25:08 PM »
Homer The Whopper 27 September 2009
Delayed from 2008, Homer The Whopper isn’t your average episode, it’s made by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and one worth waiting for. As for the actual episode, Comic Book Guy creates a new superhero called Everyman who takes powers from other superheros. Homer is cast as the lead in the film adaptation. To get Homer into shape, the movie studio hires a celebrity fitness trainer, Lyle McCarthy to help him. Homer gets into great shape but the film is canceled, and his life falls apart.

Bart Gets A Z 04 October 2009
Mrs. Krabappel confiscates the student’s cell phones, so they decide to teach her a lesson by spiking her coffee. Principal Skinner fires Mrs. Krabappel and replaces her with a cool new teacher, Zachary Vaughn.

The Great Wife Hope 11 October 2009
In this episode the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) gains popularity in Springfield, and Marge leads a protest against it. The promoter of a local MMA company decides to gain publicity from the controversy by challenging Marge to a match, with the promise that he will shut down if she wins.

Treehouse of Horror XX 1 November 2009
We can confirm all of the three segments, the first which was spilt last year, is similar to film 28 Days Later (and  Children of Men) where Krusty the clown serves burger with mad cow disease. The diease turns everyone who eats it into zombies. Yummy. In the second one Bart and Lisa plan a murder scheme, probably similar to Season 19’s Dial N for Nerder. The last but not least is one where Moe uses the blood of loyal customer, Homer in a new beer. The opening sequence will be a parody of the 1960 film Pyshco.

Untitled Episode December 2009
If we ever wanted a episode with lots of guest stars we’ve got one, it features The Smothers Brothers, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Cooper Manning. It’s an in which Bart is jealous that Lisa has a little sister and fantasizes that he has a brother. Jean said having the Smothers Brothers on the show was “a dream come true.” All three Mannings recorded their parts in New Orleans under the supervision of The Simpsons writer Tim Long. Jean said the staff liked Peyton’s work on Saturday Night Live, “and Cooper is really funny, too. They were really good [in the episode]. And just to state the obvious, this episode has yet to be named but may be named after one of the “Episode Titles”.

Rednecks & Broomsticks February 2010
Details of a new episode, probably called Rednecks & Broomsticks, where both Homer and wife Marge take up Curling, along with Prinipal Skinner and her mother, Agnes. Marge turns out to be a good curler because of her expertise at household chores, while Homer is not very good. Marge must decide whether to risk hurting Homer’s feelings by dropping him from the team. Meanwhile, Lisa sets out to collect Olympic pins. Neve Campbell guest stars.

The Greatest Story Ever D'ohed 28 March 2010
British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is to guest in an upcoming Simpsons episode where the family take a church-group trip to the Holy Land. Cohen is the alter ego of presenter Ali G and fashion reporter Bruno, but is probably best known for his portrayal of Kazakhstan reporter Borat (pictured). In the episode, Cohen will play an Israeli tour guide angered by the Simpsons, in particular Homer – who gets a case of “Jerusalem Syndrome” and believes that he is the messiah.

Once Upon A Time In Springfield Sometime 2010
Anne Hathaway will return but this time voicing an actress playing Princess Penelope drafted in to the Krusty the Clown Show to generate more young, female viewers and ends up in a relationship with Krusty. Also guest starring is Jackie Mason as the voice oof Krusty the Clown’s father Rabbi Hyman Krustofski. Eartha Kitt also recorded a role before her death in December 2008.

Pranks and Greens Sometime 2010
Jonah Hill guest stars as Andy, an adult prankster who was “the best prankster during his day” and also a former Springfield Elementry.

Untitled Episode Sometime 2010
When Homer finally wins the Lottery, he hires Coldplay, actually staring Chris Martin of Coldplay, to play for him and Bart. It is not known why or where this is.

Untitled Episode
Sometime 2010
In another unnamed episode, Sarah Silverman will play Bart’s new girlfriend “who alternately loves him and hates him for no reason.”

The Devil Wears Nada Sometime 2010
There is no information on this episode

Other Guest Stars includes
    * Gary Larson
    * Jordan Nagai
    * Bob Costas
    * Chuck Liddell
    * Angela Bassett

20 Years
The Simpsons have been going for 20 Years now and from 14 Jan 2009 to 14 Jan 2010 Fox are celebrating that with different competitions as well as…

The Hunt

For the week  starting November 9, several Fox shows (including House, Lie to Me, Bones and Fringe) will feature clues and homages to the Simpsons as part of an “on-air scavenger hunt”. Viewers who spot the clues can win prizes at Fox.com.

The Documentary

Mistaken by some to be a episode, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special in 3D on Ice, is a documentary about the “cultural phenomenon” of the  The Simpsons. It will air on January 14, 2010 on Fox. The special will be directed by Morgan Spurlock, who says that despite the title, it “most likely will not be in 3-D nor on ice.”
Plans for the special include interviews with fans from ten to fifteen countries. Filming of the special began at Comic-Con 2009 in San Diego. A casting call for fans was held on July 25, 2009, with the hopes of finding “some of the most incredible super-fans that the world has ever seen.” On August 12, 2009, Spurlock attended a Pacific Coast League baseball game between the Albuquerque Isotopes and Tacoma Rainiers at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Isotopes’ name was inspired by the season 12 episode “Hungry Hungry Homer”, where Homer attempts to thwart the Springfield Isotopes’ plan to move to Albuquerque. Subsequently, when an Albuquerque Tribune online survey helped the team decide its new name, “Isotopes” received 67 percent of the 120,000 votes.

And that’s the end, thankfully of this massive guide of information about Season 21. I bet you can’t wait.

I just worked out there is no Charlie and The Chocolate Factory rip in the Simpsons, where as Slurm Factory on Futurama and Some Kinda Beer on Family Guy.
